Co-Founder & Executive Director – Community Empowerment, Education & Social Impact

Terrence A. Green is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Urban Uplift LA, a community-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering South-Central Los Angeles through arts, education, and service. With a background in teaching, social work, and nonprofit leadership, Terrence combines grassroots experience with strategic vision to build programs that address local inequities and create sustainable pathways for growth. He leads initiatives such as Access Oasis, Therapy Thursdays, and youth mentorship programs, ensuring every project reflects cultural relevance and community voice. Terrence’s leadership bridges creativity, compassion, and structure, driving Urban Uplift LA’s mission to uplift and transform neighborhoods from within.

Ashley Renee

Co-Founder & Creative Director

Ashley Renee is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Urban Uplift LA, a community-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering South-Central Los Angeles through arts, education, and service. With a background in writing, poetry, hosting, social media management, and esthetics, she brings a creative and holistic approach to community work, bridging culture, self-expression, and wellness to inspire growth and connection among local residents.

Michael Jules

Board Member – Advisor and Social Work & Youth Development

Michael Jules serves as a Board Member and youth development expert, contributing more than 15 years of experience as a social worker with Los Angeles County and over 20 years as a public servant. He guides AGM’s safety protocols, trauma-informed practices, and youth-centered programming. Michael’s deep understanding of child welfare, mentorship, and community resources strengthens AGM’s foundation and ensures the program meets the needs of the youth it serves.

Aixa Moran

Board Member – Advisor, Project Management, Program Operations & Retail Leadership

Aixa Moran serves on the Board of Directors, bringing more than 20 years of experience as a retail executive along with deep expertise in project management, event planning, and program operations. She oversees logistics and content strategy to support AGM’s mission of empowering foster and system-impacted youth. Aixa’s leadership in organizational development and community engagement helps ensure the program delivers meaningful impact.
